Pear Wood Handle Deep Scoop Design Fast Drainage Advanced Oval-Hole Drainage System Say goodbye to soggy fries and greasy snacks. Unlike standard round-hole skimmers that trap oil, our unique oval-hole design creates channels for liquids to escape instantly. Rapid Release: Oil and water drain away immediately upon lifting. Maximum Crispiness: Keeps fried foods crunchy by removing excess grease. Healthier Meals: Significantly reduces the amount of oil you consume. Generous Deep Bowl Capacity Efficiency meets volume. The deep-well construction allows you to scoop significantly more food in one go compared to traditional shallow skimmers. This means fewer trips to the pot and less mess on your stovetop. Whether you are frying chicken wings or boiling pasta, the reinforced curved shape holds large portions securely without spilling. Stay-Cool Pear Wood Handle Cook with confidence near open flames and hot oil. We use natural pear wood for the handle because it acts as an excellent thermal barrier, staying comfortable to the touch even when the metal head is submerged in boiling liquid. Ergonomic Grip: Shaped to fit naturally in your hand for better control. Secure Hold: The textured wood provides grip even if your hands are wet. Hanging Loop: Features a stainless steel end cap for easy storage. One Tool, Endless Possibilities Don't let the name "skimmer" fool you—this versatile utensil handles almost any cooking task involving liquids. It is built from commercial-grade stainless steel that resists rust, bending, and heat damage. Frying: Lift donuts, fritters, and chicken safely out of hot oil. Blanching: Scoop vegetables from boiling water and ice baths. Serving: Perfect for twirling spaghetti or serving dumplings and meatballs. Built for Toughest Jobs Crafted from high-quality stainless steel, this colander spoon is designed to last a lifetime. It features an industrial-strength build that won't warp under high heat or bend when scooping heavy loads like potatoes or dense meats. Frequently Asked Questions Is the wooden handle safe to wash in the dishwasher? No, we recommend hand washing only. Prolonged exposure to hot water and harsh detergents can cause the natural pear wood to crack or lose its finish over time. Simply wipe the metal part with soapy water and dry the handle thoroughly. Can I use this skimmer on non-stick pans? Yes, but please be cautious. While the edges of the skimmer are smooth and rolled to prevent scratching, metal utensils should always be used gently with non-stick coatings to ensure longevity. It works best in stainless steel pots, cast iron skillets, and woks. Does the spoon get too hot to hold while frying? Not if you hold it correctly. The pear wood handle is specifically chosen for its heat-insulating properties. As long as your fingers stay on the wooden section and do not touch the metal ferrule connecting the handle to the shaft, it will remain cool and comfortable to grip. What makes the oval holes better than round ones? Round holes often create surface tension that traps small droplets of oil or water against the metal. The elongated oval shape breaks this tension, allowing liquids to run off quickly via gravity. This keeps your food drier and crispier.
