Deep Cleaning

Reckless Mods Deep Cleaning Service Give your console a proper internal clean with the Reckless Mods Deep Cleaning Service. This service goes beyond simply wiping down the outside — we open the system and remove built-up dust, dirt, debris, and grime from the areas that affect cooling and long-term reliability. What’s Included Full exterior cleaning Internal dust and debris removal Fan cleaning Vent cleaning Heatsink cleaning Internal housing cleaning Port and surrounding-area cleaning Removal of heavy dust buildup where accessible Reassembly and basic functionality testing Final quality-control inspection Why Deep Cleaning Matters Over time, consoles can collect large amounts of dust inside the system. Heavy buildup can restrict airflow and contribute to: Higher temperatures Louder fan operation Poor airflow Overheating Thermal throttling Reduced cooling efficiency Additional stress on internal components A deep cleaning helps restore proper airflow and keeps the system cleaner and better maintained. Supported Systems Deep cleaning may be available for many home consoles, including: PlayStation systems Xbox systems Nintendo systems Modded consoles Non-modded consoles Availability can depend on the specific model and condition of the device. Modded & Non-Modded Systems Welcome Unlike some of our upgrade add-ons, Deep Cleaning is available for both modded and non-modded systems. You can add it alongside a Reckless Mods modding, repair, or upgrade service when applicable. Thermal Paste & Thermal Pads Thermal paste and thermal pad replacement are not automatically included with Deep Cleaning. If you want old thermal material replaced while the console is already opened, add the appropriate Thermal Paste / Thermal Pad Service separately. Not Included Console repairs Modding or jailbreak installation Thermal paste replacement Thermal pad replacement HDD / SSD upgrades SD card upgrades Parts replacement Liquid-damage repair Corrosion repair Data recovery If we discover damage or a hardware problem during cleaning, additional work may require a separate service. Heavily Contaminated Systems Systems with unusually severe contamination—such as heavy smoke residue, liquid residue, insect contamination, corrosion, or extreme buildup—may require a more extensive Restoration Service rather than a standard Deep Cleaning. Keep Your Console Running Cleaner Whether you're already sending your console to us for a mod, repair, or upgrade, Deep Cleaning is a great way to have the inside properly serviced while the system is already in our hands. Reckless Mods — Clean It. Protect It. Play It.
