Dedali Vase - Large

The Ferm Living Dedali Vase in the large size is one of those statement pieces that completely changes how a room feels - suddenly you've got this sculptural element that works whether you put flowers in it or just let it stand alone as art. The intricate surface pattern creates this amazing play of light and shadow that shifts throughout the day, so it never looks static or boring. What's smart about the large size is how it has enough presence to anchor a space without needing to be filled with massive flower arrangements to make an impact. The ceramic construction feels substantial and well-made, not like those hollow pieces that sound cheap when you tap them. The maze-like pattern on the surface is detailed enough to keep you discovering new elements every time you look at it, but not so busy that it overwhelms everything else in the room. You can use it for fresh flowers, dried arrangements, or honestly just leave it empty because it's interesting enough on its own. The opening is sized well for both single statement stems and fuller bouquets, and the weight distribution means it's stable even when you're arranging taller branches. It's become one of those pieces people always ask about when they visit - the kind of thing that makes your space feel more curated and intentional. Ferm Living designs from Copenhagen with that Danish understanding that decorative objects should earn their place through both beauty and craftsmanship. They've figured out how to create pieces that feel both modern and timeless, using traditional ceramic techniques in ways that feel fresh rather than overly precious. Their approach focuses on making objects that enhance daily life rather than just sitting around looking decorative, creating pieces that become part of your home's personality.
