Deda Elementi DBA 27.2mm Di2 Battery Adapter

How does the Deda Elementi DBA hold a Di2 battery in place? The Deda Elementi DBA 27.2mm Di2 Battery Adapter holds an internal Shimano Di2 battery securely inside a 27.2mm seatpost. DBA stands for Deda Battery Adapter, and it fits inside the seatpost tube to keep the battery fixed where you put it. It is made from thermoplastic rubber, measures 70mm long, and weighs 14g, so it adds next to nothing to the bike. Deda lists the DBA as compatible with both Shimano Di2 and Campagnolo EPS internal batteries. This version is sized for 27.2mm seatposts, and Deda makes a separate 31.6mm version for larger posts, so confirm your seatpost diameter before you order. It is a small part, but a battery that stays put is one less thing to think about when the road gets rough. If you are running an internal battery in a 27.2mm post, this is the piece that keeps it where it belongs.
