Get to Know your Sewing Machine Better While swatching designs on my different sewing machines, I found that each machine had very different methods for accessing the stitches, setting up the buttonholes and programming alphabets. I had to refer to my sewing machine manual many times - even for machines I've owned for years! As I continued swatching and playing, I discovered that using decorative stitches is harder than it seems. By having a simple and fast method for testing the designs, I learned loads about my machines, how to access the designs, and how to quickly use them in my projects. I hope you will enjoy getting to know your home sewing machine better and actually using the dozens of designs you can play with. I'd love to see pictures of your swatches - make sure to share photos and use the hashtag #swatcher so I can easily find them.
