Buddha Decorative Night Light

Beautifully handcrafted, this Decorative Night Light depicts a statue of the Buddha, poised in a seated meditation position atop a lotus throne. He is surrounded by a gorgeous, natural landscape with the full moon shining bright behind him. The placement of the bulb gives the effect that there is an aura of light emanating from Buddha's clasped hands. This Buddha light is not printed; it is handcrafted using porcelain. This type of porcelain night light is a called a lithophane, a type of artwork that is made using extremely thin sheets of porcelain molded to varying thicknesses to create a design. Lithophanes are intended to be illuminated from behind to showcase the artwork. This art form dates back to the early 19th century in Europe. Place this stunning lithophane night light anywhere in your home to add the peaceful aura of the Buddha, plus the practicality of additional lighting. It would make a lovely addition to a meditation space to add ambient lighting to your evening meditation routine. Features Measurements: 5.5" H x 3.5" W x 2.25" D. On-off toggle switch.
