Deckfast Fascia System Tool

The Starborn Deckfast Fascia Tool is the pre-drilling component of the Deckfast Fascia System, the manufacturer-approved method for installing composite and PVC deck fascia boards. Unlike a standard countersink, this tool intentionally creates an oversized hole for the Deckfast Fascia Screw, so the fascia board effectively hangs from the screw rather than binding to it — allowing the board to expand and contract with temperature changes without putting stress on the fastener or the board itself. A free-spinning stop collar with a rubber O-ring rides against the fascia surface without dragging or marring it, and spins to a stop once the hole is complete for a consistent result every time. An anti-clog debris cavity collects drilling waste and keeps it clear of the countersink, while the pre-set countersink is matched precisely to the fascia screw's head diameter and depth for a clean, flush fit. The tool's pre-set shaft length is calibrated for fascia boards from 1/2" to 3/4" thick. Deckfast Fascia Screws are sold separately, and this tool is commonly paired with the Starborn Deckfast Fascia ProPlug Tool for a fully concealed installation.
