Dead Fowl Ruffed Grouse

The Dokken Dead Fowl Ruffed Grouse retriever training dummy was designed by world-renowned trainer Tom Dokken to replicate the real weight and feel of the ruffed grouse. The properly sized, shaped, and colored body is constructed with dense urethane foam that deters the dog from mouthing the dummy, yet provides them with a firm and correct hold. The swinging hard plastic head reminds them to not thrash or shake the grouse in their mouth while retrieving. For use on water or land, this dummy is fully buoyant and will float even when punctured or torn. The knotted rope at the rear of the dummy is firmly embedded into the body for easy and reliable throwing. The urethane foam body is capable of being injected with scent for the most realistic training scenario possible using our scent injector LCS Scent Injector and our custom formulated training scent LCS Training Scents When starting a pup with Dokken Dead Fowl Trainers, we recommend the smaller and more visible models. The Dove is the absolute smallest and the most visible of all the dead fowl trainers, constructed with the same buoyant foam and hard head Dead Fowl Dove trainer You may also want to add the Pheasant Dead Fowl trainer to your collection as you progress in the size and weight of the bird being retrieved: Pheasant Dead Fowl trainer For maximum size and weight, try the Dokken Dead Fowl Canadian Goose: Dead Fowl Canadian Goose
