Dead or Alive - PlayStation

Dead or Alive is a PlayStation fighting game from Team Ninja and Tecmo centered on fast-paced one-on-one martial arts combat. It stands out for its speed, counter-based fighting system, and early 3D arena action that helped separate it from other fighters of its era. Cleaned, tested, and guaranteed to play. Disc play surface is in good condition. This 3D fighting game emphasizes quick strikes, holds, and reversals, giving matches a more reactive feel than many traditional combo-heavy fighters. The roster features multiple martial artists with distinct fighting styles, including series mainstays Kasumi, Ryu Hayabusa, and Tina. Arcade, versus, and training-focused play options support both solo sessions and local competitive matches on the original PlayStation. Its counter system is a core mechanic, rewarding timing and defensive reads as much as offense. Compatible with: PlayStation discs can also be played on standard PlayStation 2 systems. Dead or Alive launched the series before sequels like Dead or Alive 2 expanded the arena mechanics and roster. Team Ninja later became closely associated with both the Dead or Alive and Ninja Gaiden franchises.
