DE92-02588G Range Genuine OEM Control Board

DE92-02588G Genuine OEM Samsung Range Control Board The DE92-02588G is a genuine Samsung OEM main control board and clock assembly for Samsung gas ranges. This board is the range's central processor for the oven side of the appliance — it monitors oven temperature, drives the heating functions, and includes the digital display that shows the time and temperature settings. Every button press on the control panel is interpreted here, and every heating command the oven executes is issued from this board. Samsung's own service guidance draws a clear line for when this board is the correct part: order it when the range display is completely blank or unresponsive, or when the clock/timer still works but none of the oven's heating functions operate. It is specifically the wrong part when only certain buttons fail to respond or specific functions are missing while the rest of the panel works normally — that pattern points to a failed switch membrane (touchpad) instead, a separate component. Power surges, including lightning strikes near the home's electrical service, are a documented real-world cause of this board failing outright. It directly replaces AP5800586, 3553835, and PS8764724. Quick Answer The DE92-02588G Genuine OEM Samsung Range Control Board fixes Samsung gas ranges with a completely blank or unresponsive display, or a range where the clock/timer works but none of the oven's heating functions operate. Includes the digital clock/display. Replaces AP5800586, 3553835, PS8764724. Do NOT order this board if only certain buttons don't respond or specific functions are missing while everything else works — that points to a failed switch membrane (touchpad), not this board. Common Problems This Part Fixes Range display is completely blank or dead Control panel is entirely unresponsive to any button press Clock and timer function normally, but no oven heating functions work at all Oven won't heat despite the range otherwise appearing to have power SE or similar error code displayed on the control panel Range that stopped working suddenly after a power surge or nearby lightning strike Digital display showing incorrect or scrambled time/temperature readings Cross Reference Information Part numbers can change over a product's lifecycle as manufacturers update designs or release new appliance models. For your convenience, we've included any known superseded, alternate, or cross-reference part numbers that match this item. Replaces Part Numbers This range control board directly replaces the following OEM and cross-reference part numbers: DE92-02588G, AP5800586, 3553835, EAP8764724, ASM553766, PD00025599, PS8764724 If your part number is not listed above, contact our support team before ordering and we will verify compatibility. Compatibility This control board is compatible with select Samsung gas ranges, including model numbers such as: NX58F5300SS, NX58F5300SW NX58F5500SS, NX58F5500SW, NX58F5500SB NX58R4311SS, NX58R4311SG Note: Before ordering, confirm your symptom matches this board specifically. If the display is blank/dead, or the clock works but heating functions don't, this board is correct. If only some buttons or functions fail while others work fine, the issue is very likely the switch membrane (touchpad) instead — a separate part from this control board. Always verify your full model number before ordering. Contact our support team with your model number if you're unsure. Key Features Genuine Samsung OEM part — factory-specified processor, relay, and display circuitry Monitors oven temperature and drives all oven heating functions Includes the digital clock/display for time and temperature readouts Resolves "blank display," "unresponsive control panel," and "no heating functions" symptoms caused by control board failure Direct drop-in replacement for the original board mounting and harness connectors Replaces AP5800586, 3553835, and PS8764724 Genuine OEM replacement — guaranteed fit, materials, and performance Straightforward repair — typically 15 to 45 minutes with basic tools Product Specifications Part Number DE92-02588G Part Type Range Oven Main Control Board & Clock Condition Genuine OEM Brand Samsung Application Gas Ranges Function Monitors oven temperature, drives heating functions, digital clock/display Repair Difficulty Easy to Moderate — 15 to 45 minutes Quantity 1 control board Compatible Brand Samsung Installation Notes ⚠️ Unplug Range Or Shut Off Breaker Before Starting — Handle The Board By Its Edges Unplug the range or shut off the house circuit breaker before beginning to avoid electrical hazards, and allow the range to cool if recently used. Wear work gloves. Access is typically through the rear of the control panel: remove the screws securing the back cover to reach the board. Photograph all harness connections before disconnecting anything — this board has multiple connectors, and getting one out of place will cause a no-start or miswired symptom. Handle the new board by its edges rather than touching the components directly, and avoid working on a carpeted surface or in conditions with static buildup, since these boards can be sensitive to static discharge. Remove the mounting screws, disconnect each harness connector from the old board, and lift it free. Install the new DE92-02588G in the same orientation, reconnect every harness connector exactly as photographed, and secure the mounting screws. Reinstall the rear cover, restore power, and test the display, clock, and all oven functions to confirm normal operation. Tools needed: Phillips screwdriver, nut driver, work gloves. Frequently Asked Questions Some of my buttons don't respond but others work fine. Do I need this board? Probably not. Samsung's own guidance is specific here: if certain buttons don't respond, specific functions are missing, or you can't adjust particular settings while the rest of the panel works normally, that pattern points to a failed switch membrane (touchpad) rather than this main control board. This board is the correct part when the display is completely blank/dead, or when the clock and timer work but no heating functions operate at all. My range stopped working right after a thunderstorm. Could that be related? Yes, this is a documented real-world cause of this exact board failing. Power surges, including those from a nearby lightning strike, can damage the control board's circuitry outright, leading to a sudden and complete loss of function. If your range died abruptly during or shortly after a storm, this board is a strong candidate for the cause. Should I replace the switch membrane at the same time, just in case? Some people do replace both together, especially if they want to be certain the repair is complete on the first attempt rather than risk needing a second repair shortly after. But if your symptoms clearly match this board (blank display, or clock works with no heat) rather than the switch membrane's symptoms (some buttons unresponsive, others fine), replacing just this board is usually sufficient. Does this board include the digital clock and display? Yes. This is a combined control board and clock assembly — the digital display for time and temperature settings is part of this same board, not a separate component. Is this an OEM or aftermarket part? This is a genuine OEM part, manufactured by Samsung to factory specifications — guaranteed fit, materials, and performance. It includes the same processor, relay switching, and display circuitry as the control board originally installed in your range.
