de Mamiel First Fix

Uniquely effective serum to address the effects of stress on skin / 1 fl oz de Mamiel First Fix is an incredibly hydrating, soothing serum designed specifically to treat both the causes and symptoms of stress. It’s a thoroughly modern product that took creator Annee de Mamiel a full 13 years to develop. The first thing you’ll notice among its effects is the awe-inspiring moisture-boosting, skin-plumping benefit, thanks to hyaluronic acid, squalane, and a suite of oils including Prickly Pear, Kahai, and Pomegranate. Adding further support to skin’s vulnerable barrier is Ectoin, a powerful hydrator with stabilizing and soothing properties. Right away, you'll notice that your skin feels perfectly cushioned and hydrated without heaviness. To revitalize overwhelmed complexions, Round-Headed Bush Clover, Rhodiola Rosea, Blueberry Polyphenols, and Seabuckthorn Adaptogen work together to restore, revitalize, and brighten. Then, a trio of high-tech ingredients step in to specifically address the way stress shows up on your skin. There’s Neurophroline to counteract the negative effects of cortisol on skin; Passioline, an active that’s clinically proven to support collagen and elastin synthesis; and Telosense, designed to protect and enhance skin DHA health. Its finishing touch is the de Mamiel Cortisol Resilience Complex, an aromatherapeutic blend of Rose, Cape Chamomile, Vetiver, and Sandalwood oils developed to address the emotional impact of stress, helping to break the cycle that would otherwise lead to further stress-related skin symptoms. First Fix is suitable for all skin types and conditions, and as de Mamiel puts it, “With First Fix, it’s less about skin types and more about how your skin is feeling and behaving. Given that stress is such a pervasive issue, stress-related skin conditions can include lack of radiance, dryness, irritation, and increased sensitivity. If you’re feeling stressed and your skin is showing signs of confusion, First Fix will help restore it back to optimal health and balance.” For those of us who can’t visit Annee de Mamiel’s clinic in person (learn more about her approach to stress in clinic here), First Fix is as close as it gets to one of her magically stress-relieving treatments.
