de Mamiel Essential Eye Fix

Lightweight eye oil that brightens, firms, and plumps with moisture / 0.34 fl oz  de Mamiel Essential Eye Fix is one of those introductions that make you think, “Ooh! This is exactly what this product lineup needed!” The first de Mamiel product designed specifically for the eye area, Essential Eye Fix was made to address the key signs of stress around the eyes: dryness, dullness, puffiness, darkness, and fine lines. (Yes: basically, everything. Stress just seems to make everything go off the rails.) And this lightweight, fast-absorbing oil with its cooling rollerball applicator just seems to make it all go away. First, the formula features a base of fast-absorbing, moisturizing whole oils — centered around strengthening rosehip — that immediately moisturize and nourish skin just the right amount after you roll it on and pat it in. If you tend to struggle with dryness around the eye area and find that concealer just doesn’t look quite right on you, this could be a complete game changer: it’s one of our favorite formulas underneath makeup. Secondly, it’s packed with targeted actives that address a host of concerns. Tightening green coffee, kahai, and arjuna help with puffiness, while ascorbic acid lends a brightening effect and soothing arnica fights dark circles. Bakuchiol speeds up skin cell regeneration and boosts radiance, while CoQ10, cornflower, tuberose, and paracress encourage firmer, smoother skin — just what so many of us wish we saw in this delicate area of the face. In a major departure from de Mamiel’s other creations, Essential Eye Fix doesn’t contain essential oils; it has a lovely natural scent, though, almost like an herbal infusion. Find out why it’s essential-oil-free and learn all the secrets behind this product, including why gentle massage takes it to a whole new level, in Dara’s interview with creator Annee de Mamiel on our blog. And if you'd like to give yourself a full lifting eye massage with Annee's guidance, you'll find her tutorial here. Eye Fix is one of those products that our designated team testers did not want to give back after trying — always a sign of a winner. If you’re at all concerned about the effects of stress on your eye area (who wouldn’t be?), you have to check this one out.
