DDM Tuning Plus - HID Conversion Kit

FREE STANDARD SHIPPING! All products $49 & up come with free Standard Shipping!* *USA Contiguous (Lower 48) States only. The DDM Plus Kits use only Ultra HID Bulbs and Premium HID Ballasts! Why DDM Plus: aside from the higher output from our Ultra HID bulbs you also get a more efficient, faster starting ballast. Standalone Ballasts: The DDM Plus Ballast is an improved version of the standard DDM ballasts. The Plus ballasts require less power to ignite the bulbs, limiting the need for an HID Harness. The Plus ballasts are more efficient than the standard DDM ballasts and the DDM Plus kits run cooler and last longer. Upgraded CANBUS Standalone Ballasts: The DDM Plus Canbus ballast uses a stronger canbus module to address some of the "pickier" computer systems. When designing this ballast we made sure the Canbus module was strong enough to work with even the most difficult of vehicles, including the Dodge's and any EU vehicle system. *Choose the CANBUS option if you have a DRL enabled vehicle. DO I NEED CANBUS? Check here to see if your vehicle requires a CANBUS system. All Plus DDM Ballasts are protected against RF feedback by an integrated ferrite bead before the igniter to prevent any radio static. Relay Harness Option (battery connection): Use this relay harness to connect HIDs to cars with very small gauge wiring that cannot supply the initial surge current required to light the bulbs reliably. Symptoms indicating the harness is required would be intermittent starting or lights going out after being turned on for several minutes and requiring you to turn the lights off and back on for them to turn back on again. Recommended for all 55W HID installations but most American and European cars work at 35W/55W without the harness. The harness is recommended for Quads and other ATVs or when running multiple HID installations. This harness is a fused relay isolation harness capable of supplying 20A at 12vdc. DUAL-BEAM NOTE: Dual-Beam (H4, H13, 9004/9007) kits are NOT CANBUS compatible and already come with a relay harness, and should only be selected as a standalone kit (None under Harness option above). ULTRA HID BULBS: DDM's Premium Ultra HID bulbs are quite simply the best. Modeled after the Osram CBI line of performance bulbs and sourced from quartz glass by Philips, the salts are from APL USA and electrodes from Plansee in Austria.. Capsules are redesigned to produce up to 20% more light than standard HID bulbs. The quartz glass is optically clear with a UV coating to protect the headlights from UV radiation. The warm up time on the Ultra bulbs is about 20% quicker than standard HID bulbs and will reach full brightness in approx. 10-15 seconds. Perfect Beam Alignment: Manufactured in a state of the art facility using automated processes we guarantee perfect alignment of the xenon capsule for the best beam pattern possible. RETURN WIRE NOTE (H11A vs H11B): Most main/low beam Projector style headlights use H11B with the exception of Kia/Hyundai, and Reflector style headlights normally use H11A. See our article here for more information on how to select the correct bulb for your vehicle. 35W Ballast System Color: Your choice of color. - 3000k is a strong yellow best suited for fog lights - 4500k is warm white (yellow) - 5500k is pure white - 6500k is sky blue   (4500k/5500k will be the brightest options) 55W Ballast System Color: The 50W kits will produce about 1000k less color! Installation Guides Troubleshooting & FAQ Support Request NOTES: - European Vehicles may need H7 base adapters - CAN-BUS System may be required for some vehicles to eliminate errors - Relay Harness may be required for some vehicles with flickering issues - 35W Recommended for Halogen Projectors to prevent bowl burning - Bulbs marked with the following: "H16" "12V 19W" "64219L " This is a 19W halogen bulb that has a very similar base to the H11. Do not use HID's in these applications, the housings are made of a soft plastic and may melt with 35W HID kits. Please check the bulbs before ordering. Using an H11 LED bulb is recommended instead.
