Double Sided PVC Tape 9.84 Mil - 36 Yards | DCPVC98

DCPVC98 – DOUBLE SIDED PVC TAPE   Alternative to: Various industrial-grade LSE mounting tapes designed for bonding difficult surfaces such as foam, PE, PP, chipboard, and other low surface energy materials. Key Features 9.84 Mil Total Thickness: Heavy-duty white PVC carrier coated on both sides with an aggressive modified acrylic adhesive. Designed for LSE Surfaces: Bonds exceptionally well to low surface energy substrates such as PE films, PP films, foam, and rough textured materials. Aggressive Modified Acrylic Adhesive: Solvent-free adhesive system delivers excellent tack, long-term bond strength, and reliable industrial performance. Strong Bond Build Over Time: Adhesive strength increases after application for dependable permanent mounting performance. High Temperature Resistance: Performs in demanding environments with continuous temperature resistance from -40°F to 266°F. Moisture Resistant: Resistant to moisture and temperature fluctuations for durable indoor and outdoor applications. APEO/APE Free: Manufactured without APEO/APE compounds. This LSE double sided PVC tape is engineered for permanent industrial bonding on difficult-to-bond substrates, making it ideal for foam, plastics, textured materials, displays, and industrial assembly applications. Benefits Excellent Adhesion on Difficult Surfaces: Specifically designed for low surface energy materials where standard mounting tapes may fail. High Initial Tack: Delivers aggressive tack for reliable positioning and immediate holding performance. Strong Long-Term Bond: Adhesive strength continues building over time for durable permanent mounting applications. Industrial Grade Performance: Ideal for manufacturing, converting, displays, foam bonding, and mixed-material assemblies. Excellent Temperature Resistance: Maintains reliable performance in both low and high temperature environments. Applications LSE Plastic Bonding: Excellent for bonding PE films, PP films, foam materials, and other low surface energy substrates. Foam & Display Applications: Ideal for foam mounting, display assembly, and promotional materials. Industrial Assembly: Suitable for laminating, mounting, converting, and general industrial bonding operations. Rough Surface Bonding: Adheres well to textured and rough surfaces such as chipboard and similar materials. Technical Specifications Total Thickness: 9.84 mil (exclusive of liner) Carrier Type: White PVC Film Adhesive Type: Modified Acrylic (Solvent-Free) Release Liner: 90gsm Gold Glassine Paper Liner Adhesion: 168 oz/in Tack: 62 oz/in Temperature Resistance: -40°F to 266°F Compliance: APEO/APE Free Core Size: 3” Neutral Core How to Apply Clean the surface thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol and allow it to dry completely. Apply the tape firmly to one surface while minimizing trapped air during installation. Remove the release liner and apply firm pressure to bond the second surface securely. (For best results, allow adhesive strength to build over time after application.) Important Notes Must be applied to clean, dry, and debris-free surfaces to ensure proper adhesion. Adhesive strength improves with dwell time after application. Note: Specifications are those given by manufacturers and are not independently tested for accuracy.
