Here at Energy Safety Supply, we offer the 16" Lanyard Extension with D-Ring and Hook (Double Kit), a user-friendly solution designed to extend the reach of your existing fall protection system while maintaining safety compliance. Why Choose the 16" Lanyard Extension Double Kit? Enhanced Reach and Fall Protection: This double kit provides two individual 16-inch lanyard extensions, allowing you to equip multiple workers or create a longer reach when necessary. These extensions bridge the gap between a worker's harness dorsal D-ring and a suitable anchor point, even when working at a distance. This ensures workers remain continuously connected to the fall protection system, minimizing the risk of falls in situations where a standard lanyard length might be insufficient. Secure Attachment with D-Ring and Hook: Each extension features two key connection points. The large D-ring allows for secure attachment to your harness dorsal D-ring, while the small hook on the opposite end connects directly to a suitable anchor point. This dual connection system provides a reliable and versatile way to extend your reach while maintaining fall protection compliance. FME Compliance and Organized Work Area: Traditional methods of extending reach, such as tying knots in lanyards, are not compliant with fall protection standards. This double kit offers a safe and approved way to achieve the necessary reach, eliminating loose knots and promoting a clean and organized work area in line with Foreign Material Exclusion (FME) best practices. Durable Construction and Cost Savings: This double kit provides excellent value. It eliminates the need to purchase individual extensions for multiple workers and offers a cost-effective solution for extending reach. Manufactured from high-strength materials like red urethane-coated webbing and sturdy steel hardware, these extensions are built to withstand demanding work environments. This durable construction minimizes the need for replacements and maximizes your return on investment.
