DB Peacock Stonefly Nymphs

DB Peacock Stonefly Nymphs — Double Bead, Double Trouble for Trout When trout play hard to get, meet the fly that shows up serious and ready: the Double Bead Peacock Stonefly Nymph. It’s Uncle Rocky’s favorite—because why mess around with subtlety when you can sink fast and look irresistible? Made for anglers who want reliable hookups and fewer “almosts,” this peacock-bodied stonefly nymph is a go-to during Salmon and Stonefly hatches — and perfectly happy working year-round. AXG Life: Life, Adventure-Ready, even on the days fish pretend they’re too busy. Key Features & Design Body: Peacock peacock dubbing for natural flash and lifelike profile. Beads: Double bead design — sinks quickly so you hit the strike zone without dramatic theatrics. Legs: Available with Black or Amber legs for pattern variation and targeted attraction. Sizes: Comes in sizes #04 through #18 to match what the fish are eating (and your mood). Pattern: Stonefly nymph silhouette — realistic, weighted, and built to fool picky trout. Performance & Benefits This isn’t a pretty decoration — it’s a problem solver. The double bead weight gets the fly down fast into the strike zone where trout actually eat. The peacock body adds subtle flash and a buggy profile that says “food” without screaming it. Turns dink strikes into confident pulls — less guesswork, more action. Works brilliantly during Salmon/Stonefly hatches and holds its own the rest of the year. Color options (black or amber legs) let you match natural nymph stages or experiment when the fish are feeling picky. Multiple sizes (#04–#18) cover everything from jumbo meals to the menu-sized morsels trout won’t ignore. Why you’ll actually bring this on the river: It’s simple, durable, and designed to get down where the trout live — perfect for anglers who prefer results over ceremony. Toss one on when the hatch gets loud or when you’re tired of polite refusals. Add to cart and give your fly box the upgrade it didn’t know it needed — and go make better cast stories at the next campfire.
