Daybreak

Daybreak is a co-operative game about climate action. Each player controls a world power, deploying policies and technologies to both dismantle the engine of global heating and to build resilient societies that protect people from life-threatening crises. If the global temperature gets too high, or if too many people from any world power are in crisis, everyone loses. But if you work together to draw down global emissions to net-zero, you all win! 1-4 players Ages 10+ 60-120 minute play time Contents: 1 Central board 4 player boards 2 player board extenders 158 Local Project cards 48 Crisis cards 24 Global Project cards 42 Challenge cards 9 Reference cards 60 Clean/Dirty Energy tokens (1-value) 14 Clean/Dirty Energy token (5-value) 48 Resilience token (1-value) 12 Resilience token (5-value) 69 Emissions tokens 48 Communities in Crisis tokens 10 Temperature Bands tokens 40 Carbon cubes (1-value) wood tokens 20 Carbon “cubes” (5-value) 6 Planetary E!ects trackers 1 Current Round tracker disc 4 Global Project tracker discs 4 Energy Demand tracker “houses” 8 DAC (1-value) 1 DAC (5-value) 8 Trees (1-value) 5 Trees (5-value) 8 Oceans (1-value) 3 Oceans (5-value) Dice 1 Planetary E!ects 1 Geoengineering 1 rulebook 6 pulp storage trays
