Day Tripper Medium Roast

Day Tripper from Good Folks Coffee is the kind of medium roast that works morning, noon, and night—a balanced blend built around sweet chocolate and buttery caramel notes that shine whether you're pulling shots, brewing a pour over, or steeping cold brew overnight. This is coffee for people who want reliability without boring predictability, a cup that adapts to your day without demanding special treatment. Tasting Notes Expect smooth chocolate at the forefront, backed by caramel sweetness and a round, velvety body that coats the palate without heaviness. The acidity is gentle and balanced—never sharp, never flat—with a clean finish that invites another sip. There's a subtle nuttiness in the aftertaste, like toasted almonds, that lingers just long enough to remind you why you reached for this bag in the first place. It's approachable complexity: easy to love, hard to tire of. Brew Methods Day Tripper thrives across the brewing spectrum. As espresso, it pulls rich and sweet with minimal effort, producing shots that taste great straight or in milk drinks—think classic cappuccino territory. Pour over methods like V60 or Chemex highlight the chocolate-caramel interplay while maintaining clarity and balance. French press drinkers will appreciate the full body and smooth texture, and cold brew fanatics will find this blend develops remarkable sweetness with extended steeping. It's genuinely versatile, which is rarer than roasters admit.
