DAX Forged Carbon Matte

FORGED CARBON SHELL Unparalleled durability and incredibly lightweight OVERSIZED RATCHETING DIAL Effortless Adjustments, Ultimate Comfort MIPS SAFETY SYSTEM Reduced rotational force, enhanced protection Certifications Our hard hats are certified to meet rigorous international safety standards, ensuring top-tier protection in various industrial environments. The certifications covered by our hard hats include: 1. ANSI/ISEA Z89.1-2014 (American National Standards Institute) Type 1: Provides protection from impacts to the top of the head. Class G: General electrical protection, tested to withstand 2,200 volts. Class C: Designed for impact protection, offering no electrical insulation. 2. CSA Z94.1-15 (Canadian Standards Association) Type 1: Protection against impact on the crown of the head. Class G: General electrical protection, withstanding up to 2,200 volts. Class C: Impact protection, without electrical insulation. 3. EN 397 +A1:2012 (European Standard for Industrial Safety Helmets) Conforms to the European standards for industrial safety helmets, providing basic impact protection and performance in low temperature environments. Features Gear up for unmatched safety and comfort on the site with the Forged Carbon DAX Hard Hat. Crafted with a forged carbon shell, each hard hat is a testament to durability and innovation, while being 25% lighter, making it a go-to choice for reducing fatigue during those long shifts. The inclusion of the MIPS© safety system ensures unparalleled protection by reducing rotational force to the head in the event of lateral impacts or falling objects, providing you with added peace of mind on the job. Experience rapid head size adjustment and superior retention with the innovative LUX Suspension System, offering a secure fit tailored to your needs. Forged Carbon Shell – Unique carbon fiber layup techniques make each hard hat a one-of-a-kind design that is also 25% lighter than the original DAX carbon fiber hard hat. Mips© safety system – Providing exceptional protection, The Mips® safety system features a low-friction layer inside a safety helmet or hardhat that allows a multi-directional movement of 10-15mm on certain angled impacts, intended to help reduce rotational force to the head. Moisture-Wicking Brow Pad – Crafted from synthetic plush padding, this innovative design ensures day-long comfort while effectively preventing sweat from dripping into your eyes. Retention System – Using our uniquely designed LUX Suspension System to provide better retention. The ratcheting fitment dial allows for rapid head size adjustment and is easy to grip and manipulate with gloves on. The ratcheting system lies on the occipital lobe, providing stability and comfort. Brim Grip – A staple feature on all our premium hard hats is designed to provide a better grip. Certifications – ANSI, TPYE I, CLASS C / EN 327, Hard hat shell has been tested to radiant heat loads producing temperatures up to, but not exceeding, 350˚ F (177˚ C), Using this hard hat with a chin strap does not meet ANSI, Type II certification. SAFETY REDEFINED Mips safety system is based on over 25 years of research on rotational motion and helmet safety. An abundance of studies and data all support the same thing: most of the incidents that may lead to severe brain damage are caused by oblique impacts. They cause rotational motion, which can in turn cause shearing and/or stretching of brain tissue thus increasing the risk of concussion or even more serious brain damage. HOW MIPS WORKS The Mips® safety system features a low-friction layer inside the DAX hardhat that allows a multi-directional movement of 10-15mm on certain angled impacts, intended to help reduce rotational force to the head. Hard Hat Weight Our Safety Helmet weighs in at an average 495g grams with suspension. Application of Use Working-at-heights, Confined Space, Heavy Industrial, Rescue, Arborist and General Construction. Lifespan 3 - 5 Year Average Liftspan: Hard hat lifespan may vary depending on the conditions of each work site. Hard hats subjected to more wear and tear or used outdoors in direct sunlight may need to be replaced more frequently. Daily inspections are the best way to determine when to replace a hard hat shell, suspension, or the entire unit. Suggested replacement is based on service life (Based on when the hard hat was placed into service, not the manufacture date). As a general guideline we recommend replacing hard hats every 3-5 years regardless of outside appearance, but this can vary due to use and job site conditions
