David Rosales Spiny Oyster Shell Cobblestone Ring

David Rosales Designs - The Finest Contemporary Native American Jewelry I am in love with this ring! This has Spiny Oyster Shell inlaid in sterling silver. Spiny Oyster comes from Baja California where divers swim down and fetch them from the bottom of the gulf. It has become a popular coral alternative in Native American jewelry. In this ring, the shell is inlaid with a cobblestone fashion. This means that the stones have all been rounded with a three-dimensional look and feel. The cobblestone styling is significantly more difficult for these Native American jewelry artists than traditional flat inlay work. There's just something about these stones that make this ring vivid and appealing. The overall size of this ring makes it work for either a man or a woman.
