Data Stream 4 DMX Splitter

The Chauvet Data Stream 4 is a popular, basic DMX splitter. From the Manufacturer: The Data Stream 4 is a universal DMX-512 optical splitter designed to distribute the incoming DMX signal, in daisy chain configurations, into four separate outputs with an additional “thru” port. From the GEAR Pro's: These are not bad.  We generally recommend the ENTTEC D-Split has our favorite "cheap" DMX splitter, but these are not bad when you want a rackmount solution.  Sometimes people have issues with the connectors on these, usually out of the box.  Keep in mind that even though you see a 3-pin and 5-pin on each output, you choose ONE of them, you can't use both at the same time.  Being a cheaper splitter, they also use a IEC cable for power, which can wiggle loose inside of racks.  A dab of hot glue can do wonders there, though :) In the Box: (1) Data Stream 4 (1) IEC Power Cable Features: Universal, optical DMX splitter provides 4 outputs from a single input Increase flexibility with 3- and 5-pin XLR connections for each input/output Increase operation with additional 3- and 5-pin output for linking other Data Stream 4 units Electrical isolation between input and output Conveniently mount with a shorter cable run using the single space (1U) mounting rack
