Darwin Enlightenment Extreme Interconnects

"...if you, like me, value sonic truth, accuracy, and overall transparency, you probably won’t do much better at any price than “The Enlightenment” interconnects..." - PTA About Darwin Cables Over the 12 years since their inception, Darwin Cables have become an underground favorite of seasoned audiophiles. Their designs are minimalist, low-mass, with silver conductors, cryogenic treatment and careful selection of dialectric, solder, and connectors to get the most out of their cables. The Enlightenment Extreme Darwin's evolutionary air-dielectric design already delivered the most transparent, uncolored signal in the industry. However, in a painstaking process of trial and error, the designers at Darwin discovered five organic crystals, some of which have long been used in military, electronic, and mechanical applications that elevate performance through EMI and resonance control. They use 20 total crystals each with their own unique properties. It was no small challenge to come up with the proper balance. An organic, low-dielectric, cotton sleeve also enhances resonance control. The performance of the Enlightenment by Darwin, is, in a word, breathtaking. Because the signal is so pure, so clean and rich, you'll hear inner detail and decay so real, you'll keep coming back for more. Handling The Enlightenment Extremes Some delicacy and care needs to be observed when handling these cables, as they are delicate. The minimalist/purist design has it's trade offs. If you have been called "ham handed", "all thumbs" etc. These may not be the cables for you. Sound Refinement, Naturalness, extreme low level resolution and "phase correctness". By phase correctness, we mean that harmonic elements that are close in frequency are no longer smeared, or sonically blurred into a single sound, but separate, yet cohesive. I hope that makes sense. Most likely due to no dialectric effects, and low capacitance. Subtle reverbs with quick decays emerge where there was nothing before. more instruments playing together can be distinguished. All in a very realistic, and natural way.  Read our comparison of all 3 Darwin Interconnects
