Dark Matter EvenFlow

Dark Matter EvenFlow Professional Turf Surfactant Technology for Home Lawns Most lawns don’t struggle because they need more water. They struggle because water isn’t moving through the soil evenly. That’s why high-end golf courses, sports fields, and professional turf managers use surfactants to stay ahead of summer heat. Now homeowners can too. Dark Matter EvenFlow is a professional-grade concentrated surfactant built to help water soak in deeper, spread more evenly, and stay available longer where roots need it. Instead of water pooling in some areas while other spots dry out, EvenFlow helps create more even moisture throughout the root zone—leading to stronger turf, better color, and improved summer performance. Why Homeowners Use EvenFlow • Fewer dry spots and crispy patches • Less wasted irrigation • More even green color across the lawn • Better drought tolerance • Stronger, deeper roots • More consistent fertilizer uptake • More uniform growth and density • Better performance during summer stress What Makes EvenFlow Different Unlike watered-down homeowner products that often need constant reapplication, EvenFlow is built on professional turf technology designed for long-lasting performance. Coverage Options • 120-Day Coverage: Two applications, 7 days apart • 60-Day Coverage: One application That means fewer applications, less hassle, and season-long results. Application Rate Apply: 8 oz of EvenFlow per 1,000 sq ft For best results, EvenFlow should be watered into the soil after application. How Much Water Should I Mix It With? The amount of water is just the carrier. Its job is to help spread the product evenly across the lawn. A simple starting point: Mix 8 oz of EvenFlow with 1 to 2 gallons of water per 1,000 sq ft. So if you are treating 5,000 sq ft: 40 oz of EvenFlow mixed with 5 to 10 gallons of water You do not need to be perfect with the water amount. The most important thing is that you apply the correct amount of EvenFlow over the correct square footage. Step-by-Step Directions Measure your lawn area. Know how many square feet you are treating. Add water to your sprayer first. Fill the tank about halfway with water. Add EvenFlow. Use 8 oz per 1,000 sq ft. Add the remaining water. Mix with enough water to spray the area evenly. Shake or agitate the tank. Make sure the product is fully mixed before spraying. Spray evenly across the lawn. Walk at a steady pace and try to apply it as evenly as possible. Water it in. After applying, water the product into the soil with irrigation or rainfall. When Should I Apply It? EvenFlow works best when applied before heat and drought stress show up. A great time to apply is: 2 to 4 weeks before your lawn typically starts struggling in summer. You can also apply it anytime you are dealing with: Dry spots Water running off instead of soaking in Uneven color Soil that seems hard to re-wet Areas that dry out faster than the rest of the lawn Best Application Program For the longest-lasting results: Apply 8 oz per 1,000 sq ft, then repeat the same application 7 days later. This two-application program can provide performance for up to approximately 120 days. For a lighter program: Apply one application at 8 oz per 1,000 sq ft. A single application can provide performance for up to approximately 60 days. Important Notes EvenFlow is safe for all turf types when used as directed. Do not apply with a hose-end sprayer. Do not let the product sit on the grass blades without watering it in. Avoid applying during the hottest part of the day. Morning or evening applications are best, especially during summer. EvenFlow is not a fertilizer. It helps your soil handle water better, which can also help your lawn respond more evenly to watering and fertilizer applications. Can I Use EvenFlow When Seeding? Yes. EvenFlow can be used when seeding or overseeding. When you’re trying to grow new grass, consistent moisture is one of the most important things. EvenFlow helps water soak into the soil and spread more evenly through the root zone, which can help prevent dry spots and uneven germination. Apply EvenFlow at: 8 oz per 1,000 sq ft Then water it into the soil after application. For seeding projects, EvenFlow can be applied: Before seeding, at the time of seeding, or shortly after seeding. The easiest method is usually to apply it right after spreading seed, then lightly water it in. Do not apply EvenFlow with a hose-end sprayer. Use a pump sprayer, backpack sprayer, battery sprayer, or ride-on sprayer. One note I’d include: EvenFlow does not replace proper watering during germination. You still need to keep the seedbed consistently moist until the new grass is established. EvenFlow just helps the water move and spread more evenly in the soil. Advanced Technology Inside EVENFLOW™ uses advanced block-polymer surfactant chemistry to improve both: • Vertical infiltration – helps water move deeper into the soil • Horizontal movement – helps water spread more evenly through the root zone This balanced movement helps eliminate dry pockets while reducing oversaturation, creating more uniform moisture where the lawn needs it most. The result: • Improved irrigation efficiency • Better root access to moisture • Increased plant resilience in heat and drought • More consistent turf performance across the entire lawn Active Ingredients Contains 100% Alkoxylated Polyols Net Contents: 128 fl oz (1 gal) | 8.0 lbs Storage & Handling • Store in a cool, dry location • Shelf life up to 2 years under normal warehouse conditions • Keep container sealed when not in use • Protect from freezing Do not apply near water, storm drains, or drainage ditches.
