Dark Matter Custom Standup Rods

Dark Matter Custom Standup Rods are made in the USA and are designed to deliver the best in offshore performance. These rods are built on a lightweight yet powerful Calstar blank that has the right amount of flex so that it does a lot of the work when fighting a big tuna. They have been outfitted with top of the line Winthrop Express wind-on roller guides that are lighter in weight than other guides and allow your swivel to pass through them. The aluminum straight uni-butt is detachable so you can take your reels home with you or easily lock them up for safe keeping after a fun day on the water. We've fished and handled a lot of standup rods over the years and this is simply the best. If you love fishing offshore and want to do some serious trolling for tuna, outfit your boat with Dark Matter Custom Standup Rods. You are going to love them!  Dark Matter Custom Standup Rods are available in 50-100 lb class in two amazing colors. Choose from Blackout and Blue Fade. These rods can be customized so if you want to upgrade to a Winthrop Terminator Butt, please get in contact with us.  Models: DMCSR-50100
