Slow roasted, this classic coffee has all the attributes of a French roasted coffee without the acidity and bitterness. Mavericks boldest roast, next to our espresso, this is in our opinion among some of the most pleasant and tasteful French roasts available today. Enjoy Mavericks slow roasted and low acid coffee.  Also available in our Bold 3 Pack! Cupping Notes: Bold & rich, "edgy", with a hint of smokiness.  Smooth on the palate. A highly drinkable cup.   Slow Roasting Since 2004, we have been slow roasting the coffee at higher temperatures for a much longer duration. This yields a much more natural tasting coffee with out the bright bitter taste and high acidity levels that negatively affect people's health. Plus, it involves no pretreatments, additives, or complicated processes. As a result, you can enjoy a more pleasant cup of coffee that is easier on your body. Organic All Mavericks Coffees are certified USDA Organic in compliance with the National Organic Program. We are also 3rd party inspected by CCOF for program compliance and traceability. You can see Organic certificate here. Low Acid Mavericks coffees are amongst the lowest acid coffees in the United States. Up to 80% lower acid than national brands, our coffees are independently lab tested, certified, and have industry leading pH scores. You can view our Analytical reports here. The Taste We slow roast coffee because we love the rich and smooth taste it creates. (It just happens that it is the best way to remove acid from coffee). Our signature slow roasted flavor is in every pound coffee we roast. Enjoy all the things you like about coffee and none of the things you don't.
