Dara Kennedy Eye Serum

The supercharged yet soothing eye treatment with marine actives for a brighter, better-rested look / 0.5 oz The Dara Kennedy Eye Serum is a stunningly effective gel-cream, powered by marine botanicals and ginger, that encourages a fresher, firmer, better-rested look around the eyes. It is, hands down, the fastest (topical) path we’ve found to brightness in this frequently-fraught-with-concerns area of the face. And, like all Dara Kennedy products, it’s suitable for all skin types, even the most sensitive. What it does One notoriously picky tester put it this way: “The Eye Serum is the first product I’ve tried that showed results immediately.  Applied at night and woke to fresh, un-puffy, tight eyes. This is a winner. Please send more, so I can be ‘sure’?  (Hahaha.)” She can be sure, as can you; the Eye Serum was designed to address multiple signs of aging around the eye area with maximum efficiency.  First, power players including our hand-harvested giant kelp provide the perfect balance of hydration and lightweight moisture for the delicate skin around the eyes, boosted with brighteners. Then, three different seaweeds and two types of ginger extracts come in to de-puff, significantly reduce both hyperpigmented and vascular dark circles, smooth wrinkles, energize the skin for greater luminosity, and encourage collagen synthesis (which is key in that area just above the lid, where it tends to get crepey). The bonus: most of these ingredients boast an extra gear as redness reducers and super soothers. “Hurts so good” skincare can be a thing of the past, where it belongs. The result: a better rested, notably brighter, seriously firmer, less lined and dark-circled, and definitely more lifted look. It’s everything we think you’ve been looking for. (We’ve been paying attention.) Why it works so well 1. IT’S ALL ABOUT LOCATION. Most eye formulas can’t be used all around the eye area, limiting use to just below the eye or just along the brow bone. Dara Kennedy Eye Serum is designed and tested for use all around the eye area, including the vulnerable part over the lid: skin here tends to get lax because it’s significantly thinner, it’s constantly moving, and it gets hit with a lot of UV exposure, which can dramatically accelerate the signs of aging.  2. INGREDIENTS MATTER, TOO. The Eye Serum’s ingredients include powerful yet eye-area-appropriate antioxidants proven to minimize the effects of those environmental exposures. And its formula addresses all the eye area concerns (Bags! Circles! Lines! Laxity!) after first taking care of the basics — moisture and hydration — for greater efficacy. 3. ALSO KEY: APPLICATION. The formula helps with puffiness on its own, but its texture was also designed to facilitate ultra-gentle massage around the eye area, promoting lymphatic drainage and further minimizing puffiness. The iconic Cecily Braden created a massage application protocol specifically for the Eye Serum to help you get the most out of it, which you can find on Dara's Substack. The Dara Kennedy Eye Serum is powered by ingredients clinically proven to:  - Increase hydration levels by 100% after 2 hours - Reduce total wrinkle volume by an average of over 30% after 2 months - Significantly reduce both hyperpigmented dark circles (up to 35%) and vascular dark circles (up to 7.9%) after 2 months - Measurably reduce eye bag volume (in 92% of study participants) - Help protect against UVA- and UVB- induced free radical damage (important note: it’s not a sunscreen — wear those sunglasses!)    1% for the planet is great, but 5% is even better In recognition of the planet that has made this plant-based formula possible, and the need for us all to give back and protect it, 5% of every Eye Serum sale goes to The Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy.   Since 1981, the Parks Conservancy has served as the nonprofit partner of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area (GGNRA), the most trafficked of all US parks, which includes iconic places like Muir Woods, Alcatraz Island, Crissy Field, and the Presidio — Dara’s favorite retreat in San Francisco.
