Daniel Defense GL/SSC RIS II 12.5″ 5.56 Pistol

Daniel Defense GL/SSC RIS II 12.5″ 5.56 Pistol Originally developed in response to a SOCOM-driven requirement, the GL SSC stands as one of the most distinctive and sought-after rifles in Daniel Defense history. Produced in extremely limited numbers during its initial run (125 IN TOTAL), this platform quickly earned a reputation among professionals and enthusiasts alike. Now, as part of our 25th Anniversary celebration, the GL SSC returns—faithfully re-imagined for today’s shooter. A renowned firearm from the Global War on Terror, this marks the first time this configuration has been offered directly from the factory, delivering a compact, maneuverable platform without compromising performance. At its core is the iconic RIS II GL/SSC rail system, engineered for durability and recognized instantly by clone enthusiasts for its military pedigree and distinctive profile. The Daniel Defense RIS II, developed for SOCOM’s SOPMOD II program, provides a free-float M203 solution and is designed for use with the MK12 Low Profile Gas Block.
