Dandelion Paperweight

A dandelion seed head preserved in crystalline resin—a small meditation on wishes suspended. This paperweight transforms botanical specimen into permanent observation, the spherical form allowing inspection from every angle with flawless clarity. Awarded the Tarian Label by the Design Council, the piece exemplifies the patience required in its production: each seed preserved intact, the resin hand-cast to achieve transparency without distortion. It functions as both practical object and quiet study in what we choose to preserve when most things disperse. The dandelion itself carries cultural weight—wishes made, seeds scattered, childhood rituals of counting breaths. Here, that ephemeral gesture becomes fixed, a small reminder that some moments deserve to be held. Hand-made in England 2.5" Diameter, boxed
