Dancing Queen Hosta

(Mature Size: 22"T x 40"W) American Hosta Growers Hosta of the Year 2020, Hosta 'Dancing Queen' is a large hosta that emerges bright yellow in spring with ruffled margins. Deep veins and some nice corrugation add the the beauty of this large yellow hosta. Can handle quite a bit of sun here in the north. Might burn the first couple of years but does better as the root system gets larger.. It is said that this hosta holds it's yellow color throughout the season. We have noticed this hosta go to lime green if not grown in sun. I love when the lavender flower bracts rise out of the foliage before they open. Pale lavender flowers appear in summer and contrast beautifully with the golden foliage. Why Should I Grow It? Large hosta with lots of ripples help this one dance in the garden. (K. Terpening/A.
