Damascus Straight Razor Knife with Multicolor Resin Handle

The Damascus Straight Razor Knife brings the precision of a classic barber's edge into a fixed-blade design built to last. Its flat-ground spine cuts clean, controlled lines, making it suited for close grooming work as much as fine detail tasks. A twist Damascus pattern runs the length of the steel, with wood-grain lines folded into the blade during forging. No two blades come out exactly alike, so the piece you receive carries its own grain. The handle is where this knife really sets itself apart. A swirl resin grip in orange, blue, and white winds through the design, and a scalloped texture cut into the surface keeps your hand locked in place during use. Paired with a western-style basket-weave leather sheath, the whole piece reads as part working tool, part collector's display item. JW Steel Crafts builds this Damascus Straight Razor Knife with a swirl resin handle, scalloped grip texture, and a matching basket-weave pancake sheath — a combination you won't find elsewhere in our lineup. The History Behind This Blade Straight razors have roots in early barber shops, where a flat, hollow-ground edge meant a closer, cleaner cut. Japan's kamisori followed a similar fixed-blade approach, prized for control rather than folding convenience. Damascus forging itself stretches back centuries, valued for its strength and the patterns left behind by repeated folding. JW Steel Crafts brings these traditions together by hand, shaping each blade for both daily use and display. Blade Performance Hand-forged Damascus steel holds its edge well past what most factory blades manage. The flat grind keeps cuts straight and predictable, whether you're trimming close or working through fine detail. Full tang construction runs the entire length of the handle, giving the blade balance instead of a top-heavy feel. Even after repeated use, the steel resists chipping and rolling along the edge. A high-polish finish across the surface also helps fend off rust, so the blade keeps its shine with basic care. Handle Construction Olive-toned swirls of resin move through blue and white sections, giving each handle its own pattern, much like the blade above it. The grip isn't smooth a scalloped grind cuts shallow ridges into the surface, so your hold stays firm even when your hands are damp. Full tang construction means the steel runs straight through the handle rather than stopping partway, which adds both strength and weight where it matters. Resin handles like this one also shrug off moisture better than wood, making the knife easier to maintain over time. Best Used For This knife handles close grooming tasks where control matters more than speed. It also works as a detail blade for trimming, carving small materials, or other precision jobs around the workshop. Collectors often pick this piece up purely for display, drawn to the resin handle and the basket-weave sheath as much as the blade itself. Western knife enthusiasts, in particular, tend to gravitate toward the leather styling here. As a gift, it suits anyone who appreciates handmade steelwork or unusual collector pieces.
