A sun care product only performs at its labeled SPF when it is applied generously. Cover the whole face and neck in an even layer rather than a thin veil. Is it a mineral or a chemical filter? 100% mineral. Zinc oxide is the filter, paired with a carnosine derivative for antioxidant action. Does it leave a white cast? Valmont reports 96.6% no white marks. The finish is satiny rather than chalky, which is why it is positioned as an everyday face product. Where does it go in my routine? Last, in the morning. Apply it alone or over your serum or cream, and put makeup on afterwards. How often should I reapply? As often as necessary to keep protection through the day, including in urban settings, and again after swimming or towel-drying.
