Daily Moisturizing Face Cream for All Skin Types™ is the best deeply hydrating facial skin cream for all skin types - non-pore clogging, light-textured, and enriched with ceramides and squalane to support a healthy skin barrier for even the driest complexions. Overview I love the feel of this facial cream on my skin and my patients and I have depended on it for years. The advanced formulation is made in an FDA regulated laboratory and is designed to replenish key skin barrier components that strengthen skin barrier integrity so that your skin can resist dehydration. Pharmaceutical grade ceramides and squalane are coupled with glycerin, vitamins, antioxidants and hypoallergenic therapeutic botanical extracts. The result is a highly effective formulation that helps skin fend off dryness and chapping while never feeling heavy or greasy, even on oily skin.  The key purpose of a skin moisturizer is to protect skin from excessive water loss (called Transepidermal Water Loss) and the resulting skin dehydration. The most important function of any facial moisturizer is to prevent skin dryness and dehydration - the skin care step that I refer to as Hydrate in my Complete Skin Care Routine™. Many facial skin moisturizers claim to do much more such as treat acne, fight wrinkles etc. Those tasks are best done by treating serums and medicines because when you use a moisturizer with a complex mixture of ingredients, you run the risk of using formulations that work at cross purposes to the important products that you are relying on to Correct skin problems or attain skin care goals. Keep your facial moisturizing skin cream focused on retaining skin hydration and doing a superlative job of maintaining skin barrier integrity.  This will ensure that your moisturizer is a good "team player" with the treatment serums and medicated products that you use in your daily routine. My Daily Moisturizing Face Cream is designed to be the perfect team player for your skin care routine. The best facial moisturizing cream for all skin care routines. Whenever I build a facial Complete Skin Care Routine™, I use this moisturizer. It fits all skin types, helps prevent excessive Transepidermal Water Loss and plays well with all other skin care products; it layers nicely with all the other professional skin care products that I recommend, and it doesn't compete with or inactivate the high levels of important active ingredients in these products.  Daily Moisturizing Face Cream has a light texture that never feels greasy. You can apply more if you want a richer feel or less if you have oily skin. Remember that moisturizers are layered over treating products immediately after cleansing your face. Sunscreen is worn on top during daylight hours.  New packaging and formerly called Daily Moisturizing Face Cream for Normal to Dry Skin.
