DJI D-RTK 3 Relay Fixed Deployment Version

The DJI D-RTK 3 Relay Fixed Deployment Version is purpose-built for extending drone transmission distance and delivering precise RTK positioning when used with Dock 3. Unlike the multifunctional version, this fixed deployment variant focuses exclusively on relay mode, ensuring uninterrupted operations in complex or obstructed environments. Key Benefits Extended Transmission Range: Reliably bridges signals between your drone and Dock 3, overcoming obstacles for improved operational safety and range. RTK Precision: Provides accurate RTK signals for high-accuracy positioning, particularly valuable for critical missions. PoE-Powered: Simplifies setup with Power-over-Ethernet, eliminating the need for separate power cables. Dock 3 Integration: Connects directly to the third port on Dock 3, making it an ideal solution for permanent or semi-permanent installations. Future Compatibility: Currently works with Dock 3; Matrice 4 Series support is planned for upcoming firmware updates. Designed for Relay Mode Only Unlike the standard D-RTK 3 Multifunctional Station, the Relay Fixed Deployment Version cannot be switched to base station or rover station modes. Instead, it specializes in long-range transmission and RTK accuracy under relay conditions—perfect for operations that require a stable, high-performance link in areas with signal obstructions. Seamless Deployment with Dock 3 Outfitted with a PoE (Power-over-Ethernet) connection, this station effortlessly integrates into your existing Dock 3 setup by simply plugging into the dock’s third port. This streamlined design reduces on-site complexity and ensures a robust, weather-resistant solution for continuous or repeat missions. Future-Ready for Matrice 4 Series While currently exclusive to Dock 3, future software updates will enable compatibility with the Matrice 4 Series, extending its versatile relay and RTK positioning capabilities even further. Highlights at a Glance Relay Mode Only: Focused functionality for maximum reliability RTK Enhancement: Accurate positioning for critical drone operations PoE Connectivity: Simple installation and setup Dock 3 Compatibility: Designed to connect via Dock 3’s third port Future Matrice 4 Series Support: Expand your deployment options as more firmware updates become available Whether you’re conducting site inspections, security patrols, or industrial surveys, the D-RTK 3 Relay Fixed Deployment Version delivers reliable, high-precision signal extension. Install it in obstructed environments, power it via PoE, and let Dock 3 do the rest for your autonomous drone operations. FAQ What modes does the D-RTK 3 Relay Fixed Deployment Version support? This version only supports Relay Station Mode. Unlike the D-RTK 3 Multifunctional Station, it cannot be switched to Base Station or Rover Station modes. How do I pair the D-RTK 3 Relay Fixed Deployment Version with a drone? Since this station is designed to work with Dock 3, connect it via the dock’s third port and then follow these steps: Power on Dock 3 and your compatible drone. Use the DJI Pilot 2 interface (or the designated remote controller) to initiate relay device pairing. Press and hold the station’s power button for 5 seconds to enter linking mode (the mode indicator will flash). Once pairing is successful, the mode indicator will turn solid blue, confirming Relay Mode activation. What is the maximum operating distance in Relay Station Mode? Under ideal, unobstructed conditions (FCC-compliant), the transmission distance can extend up to 15 km. In areas with significant obstacles, Relay Mode helps maintain a robust signal link. How does the station connect to Dock 3? It uses a Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) connection through Dock 3’s third port. This single cable provides both power and data, simplifying deployment and cable management. Does this version have an internal battery? No. The D-RTK 3 Relay Fixed Deployment Version is PoE-powered and does not utilize a built-in battery for its operations. Does the D-RTK 3 Relay Fixed Deployment Version support raw satellite observation export or PPK? While the hardware is based on the D-RTK 3 platform, the fixed deployment version focuses on Relay Mode and may have limited functionality for raw observation data. For specific workflows or future firmware updates, refer to official DJI documentation. How many devices can connect simultaneously in Relay Mode? Relay Mode supports one remote controller and its paired aircraft at a time. However, it significantly extends the transmission link, ensuring robust communication even in challenging environments. Does removing the OcuSync Directional Antennas impact Relay Mode? While the station can technically operate without them, removing the antennas may reduce performance and compromise waterproofing. They should only be removed when necessary and reinstalled properly to maintain optimal signal quality and device integrity. Which regions or countries do not support Relay Station Mode? Relay Station Mode may be restricted or unavailable in regions without the necessary 5 GHz frequency support, such as Japan, Russia, and Kazakhstan. Please confirm local regulations before deployment. Can I use the D-RTK 3 Relay Fixed Deployment Version as a Base Station or Rover Station? No. This model is limited to Relay Mode and cannot be switched to Base Station or Rover Station modes. What can I expect regarding future compatibility with the Matrice 4 Series? DJI plans to enable Matrice 4 Series support via a future firmware update. Until then, the station remains exclusively compatible with Dock 3 in Relay Mode.
