The Cyclops were a race of one-eyed giants that first appeared in ancient Greek mythology. The most famous Cyclops was Polyphemus, who captured the Greek hero Odysseus and his men only for them to escape by stabbing the giant in his only eye. Depending on where the story originated, the Cyclopes were a group of savage giants who could not speak and knew only brute force. Other stories describe them as crafty blacksmiths who armed the Olympians with their legendary weapons during the battle with the Titans. This cold cast bronze statue depicts an impressively fearsome Cyclops wielding a spiked mace. Overall: 8-3/8” tall
