Cut Medium

Handcrafted in Brianza, between Milan and Lake Como, this piece is shaped on a lathe machine and fired using the traditional Raku technique—a process rooted in centuries of material understanding. Its surface is defined by clean, deliberate cuts, each one guided by the artisan’s steady hand. The precision of the lathe creates a quiet rhythm—measured lines that bring structure and clarity to the form. The design draws inspiration from Japanese aesthetics, where Raku first emerged. There is restraint here. Balance. An appreciation for simplicity that allows the material to speak without excess. The result is an object that feels composed and intentional—where Italian craftsmanship and Japanese philosophy meet in a study of proportion, texture, and enduring calm.
