Custom Tied Usual

"The Usual" is a classic, simple trout dry fly pattern created by Fran Betters, known for its buoyancy and effectiveness, especially during mayfly hatches like the Sulphur; it uses natural, waterproof snowshoe hare foot fur for the tail, body (often dubbed), and a prominent upright wing, tied with bright thread (like orange or yellow) for high visibility, mimicking emergers or duns on fast water.
