Custom Ping G740 Midnight Irons

Custom PING G740 Midnight Irons Maximum Forgiveness in a Sleek Finish The PING G740 Midnight Irons combine distance, forgiveness, and consistency in a super-game-improvement design. The limited Midnight finish reduces glare and gives PING’s largest iron a slimmer appearance at address, with contrasting visual cues and silver-and-black paint fill adding to its premium appeal. Maximum Forgiveness and Higher Launch A 22% wider sole, 3% longer blade, and thicker topline maximize perimeter weighting while helping lower the center of gravity. This increases MOI for greater forgiveness, higher launch, and better ball-speed retention on mishits. A ¾-inch length progression from the 5- to 6-iron also helps launch long-iron shots higher and farther. Wider Dual-Camber Sole The wider dual-camber sole positions the center of gravity lower and farther back, promoting consistent ball speeds and higher launch for golfers who tend to make contact low on the face. Its shape also helps the club enter and exit the turf more easily. Improved Sound and Feel A shallower face and shorter hosel save weight, allowing additional mass to be placed in the back of the cavity for improved sound, feel, and stability. The thin, flexible face is supported by a new three-piece PurFlex cavity badge that helps dampen vibrations and substantially improve the impact experience. Precision-Milled Wedge Grooves The set includes four wedge options with precision-milled grooves for enhanced short-game control and more consistent performance around the green. Glare-Reducing Midnight Finish The darker Midnight finish reduces glare while giving the larger super-game-improvement profile a slimmer, more compact appearance. Contrasting visual cues and silver-and-black paint fill create a clean, premium look at address and in the bag.
