It's important to note that our signs are not laser-cut, instead, we utilize CNC cutting techniques to ensure a flawless finish without unsightly black edges. Each sign at Heritage Sign Co. is handcrafted by our family for your family in our Chicago workshop from locally sourced lumber. Sizing & Specs • Crafted from 1/2" Thick Birch Plywood    • Multiple Widths Available - 18" minimum, 54" maximum   • Height will vary with every sign and is based on your letters in your name(s) and your overall name width selected. If you would like to know the height of your sign please request a proof along with your order and you will receive those dimensions along with your visual proof. Options Letter & Dot Connections Letters such as "j" and "i" contain dots that are not naturally connected to the letters when previewed in our font previewer. However for ease of hanging we will connect the dot to the base of the letter unless you specifically tell us otherwise.    Additionally, we will connect any letters to each other that are disconnected (often this happens with a capital 1st letter) so that you are shipped 1 single wooden sign. We will do the same if you have multiple words such as "Nora&James" unless otherwise specified.   If you prefer for your letters or words to be disconnected in any way please also specify this to us in the personalization section. Capitalization We will use the same capitalization that you type.  Please be sure you are sending us the name with uppercase or lowercase 1st letter as you desire.     The Finer Details Hanging Options Our cutout name signs can be hung multiple ways.  You can read more about the various hanging options here. Wood Variations Please note that each sign is made to order with natural wood. Both wood grain and wood stain will vary from each individual sign.
