This product has been upgraded with a new WiFi module! New information and videos will be updated soon! Load-balancing resistors (Load equalizers) are needed to be wired for Turn signals and Brake. If you don't wire them on the turn signal, your turn signal will blink faster If you don't wire it to the brake, the cruise control won't work and maybe will have an error message. The load-balancing resistors are needed be wired between Turn signal + and GND (for each side) OR You can change your turn signal flasher relay to LED turn signal relay. With the LED turn signal flasher relay, you don't need to wire the load balancing resistors on turn signals. Here is the part number: LED flasher: Polaris 4013199 The load balancing resistor needs to be wired between Brake + and GND The load balancing resistor gets hot sometimes, you need to place it on a metal surface such as a bike frame, etc. Normally, you would need to install three load resistors: one on each side of the turn signal’s + and GND, and one between Brake + and GND. However, if you replace the original turn signal flasher with an LED turn signal flasher, you only need to install one load resistor, which should go between Brake + and GND. Here is the part number: LED flasher: Polaris 4013199 The load balancing resistor gets hot sometimes, so you need to place it on a metal surface, such as the bike frame. The reason for installing it on the frame is that the material is metal. If you need to install a load resistor on a car, it’s fine to place it on any other metal surface as well. However, if you mount it on a heat-sensitive area, like plastic, there is a risk of damage if the light is left on for a long period of time. That's why we recommend attaching it to a metal surface. Installing load resistors is a very common method in LED customizations, and if mounted in the right location, they can last without any issues. Module setup instruction Hello, and thank you for using our product. Below are the DIP switch pin settings for the control module. Switch Functions: Switch 1 controls the Parking Light Mode Switch 2-3 control the Brake Light Mode Switch 4-6 control the Turn Signal Mode Parking Light Mode (Pin 1) 1. OFF: All LEDs turn on at 100% brightness with no animation. 2. ON: The designated parking light animation is displayed on the LEDs. Brake Light Mode (Pins 2,3) 1. OFF, OFF: All LEDs turn on at 100% brightness with no animation. 2. OFF, ON: All LEDs flash twice quickly before turning on. 3. ON, OFF: All LEDs turn on immediately, then the fade mode is activated (brightness gradually dims and then returns to 100%, repeating). 4. ON, ON: The above two actions are combined—LEDs flash twice quickly before entering fade mode. Turn Signal Mode (Pins 4,5,6) The speed of this mode can be adjusted using the dial on the module. 1. OFF, OFF, OFF: All LEDs turn on at 100% brightness with no animation. 2. OFF, OFF, ON: LEDs turn on sequentially from channel 1 to channel 14. 3. OFF, ON, OFF: All LEDs turn on, then sequentially turn off from channel 1 to channel 14. 4. OFF, ON, ON: Similar to the previous mode 3, but instead of turning off instantly, LEDs fade out gradually. 5. ON, OFF, OFF: LEDs turn on progressively in groups of four, starting from channel 1: (1) → (1,2) → (1,2,3) → (1,2,3,4) → (2,3,4,5) → (3,4,5,6) ... → (11,12,13,14) → (12,13,14) → (13,14) → (14) 6. ON, OFF, ON: Similar to mode 5 above, but when LEDs turn off, the tail end fades out smoothly. 7. ON, ON, OFF: Similar to mode 5 above, but instead of groups of four, around nine LED channels are activated. 8. ON, ON, ON: Similar to mode 7 above, but with a fade effect when the LEDs turn off.
