Custom Carry Case

*These cases are made to order with a 3-6 week lead time.  Our Cusom Carry Case is the case we've been making since the very beginning in 2013. Over the years we've come up with lots of improvements as well as more and more options and we are pleased to re-release it with more ways to customize it than ever before.  Features: Live-In Case Design with Lift Off Lid Birch Ply Construction Tour Grade Latches and Hinges Self-Alignment Brackets Tour Grade Foam Protection (Same as our Custom Flight Cases) Wide Selection of Tolex and Tweed Wraps Additional Tweed Finish Options Multiple Handle Colors  Embossed Metal or Engraved Leather Badge Options Optional Metal or Leather Corner Reinforcements Wide Selection of optional Crushed Velvet Lining FAQ: Do you offer other finish options like 2 tone or piping? Yes. We can easily do 2 tones, single or double stripes as well as piping. Soon we hope to offer these options built into this product page. However at this time we these options must be manually billed separately and it's best to confirm those details with us prior to placing your order.  Can you wrap these cases in other fabrics? Can I send my own? What about interior fabrics? Yes. We can wrap these cases in other fabrics and have done so successfully in the past. We can also use other fabrics to line the interior. However, only certain fabrics are ideal. Some fabrics are too thin and the glue soaks through immediately. Others are have limitations with how they can be wrapped or be seamed. Interior fabrics are usually best if they have some elasticity so the foam can do its job properly. If you are interested in using a custom fabric, please email us and include as much info and even photos about the fabric as possible. Can I tour with this case? What about flying? That depends. The plywood we use is incredibly strong and these cases do offer "hard case" protection. They are great for playing around town and work fine for light duty van/bus tours. However, if you're touring heavily our flight case options are better suited to take a beating.  We do not recommend flying with these cases. Can you do custom Sizes? Why isn't there a 32x16 option? Yes. We can do custom sizes. Just contact us for a quote. As for the 32x16 size, this are best suited only for certain conditions, so we only offer them upon request. Most pedalboards that larger or larger are usually so heavy that a flight case really truly is the best option. The heavier the board is, the more it becomes a balancing act of protecting the board from the outside world, while simultaneously being able handle the weight load inside.  What color choices do you offer for hardware? Latch and Hinge hardware is black by default on all orders unless "Chrome Corner Reinforcments" is selected. In this instance we use a matching chrome break-away hinge and a stainless steel latch.
