Fireball Tool Curved Jaw Locking Plier

Fireball Tool Curved Jaw Locking Pliers – Welding & Fabrication Pliers The Fireball Tool Curved Jaw Locking Pliers deliver strong, secure clamping for welding, fabrication, fit-up, and fixture work. Featuring aggressive gripping teeth across both the flat and curved sections of the jaws, these locking pliers are designed to grab onto flat, round, and irregularly shaped workpieces while providing the clamping force needed for fabrication work. They're also designed to work with Fireball Tool Cast Iron Squares, with jaws compact enough to fit through the openings in even the smaller Fireball Tool Minion Squares while still providing plenty of clamping capacity. Strong Grip for Welding & Fabrication A good pair of locking pliers is one of the most-used tools around a welding table. The curved jaw design gives these Fireball Tool pliers the versatility to grip a variety of shapes, making them useful for: Welding and fabrication fit-up Clamping flat material Holding round tubing and pipe Securing parts to Fireball Tool Squares Frame and tubing fabrication Tack welding setups Fixture and assembly work General metalworking and shop use Aggressive Jaw Design The jaws feature aggressive teeth on both the flat and curved gripping surfaces, helping the pliers maintain a secure hold on the workpiece. This makes them particularly useful when you need solid clamping force during fit-up and don't want your parts moving while positioning or tack welding. Flat & Round Clamping Capacity The curved jaw geometry provides generous capacity for both flat and round workpieces. Specifications Flat Clamping Capacity: 2"–2.5" Round Clamping Capacity: 3.25" Jaw Style: Curved jaw with flat and curved gripping surfaces Grip: Aggressive teeth Fireball Tool SKU: FB-312LJP The variation in flat clamping capacity is due to the curved contact area of the lower jaw. Designed to Work with Fireball Tool Squares One of the biggest advantages of these pliers is their ability to work directly with Fireball Tool fabrication squares. The jaws are designed to fit through the openings in even Fireball's smaller Minion Squares, allowing you to clamp your square directly to the workpiece while still maintaining a large clamping capacity. That makes them a useful companion for Fireball Tool squares when building frames, positioning tubing, setting up 90-degree joints, and handling repeat fabrication work. Important Compatibility Note Fireball Tool recommends these locking pliers for use with Cast Iron Squares. Because of the aggressive jaw teeth, heavy clamping pressure can potentially bite into or mark the surface of aluminum squares. If you're using Fireball Tool aluminum squares, consider a clamping option with less aggressive contact surfaces.
