The Curl & Twist Regimen - Hair Care for Curls, Twists & Locs

Definition is a routine, not a product. Most guys buy a curl cream, get one good day out of it, and blame the cream. The problem is what happened before the cream — a scalp full of buildup and hair that never got its moisture back. This is the three-step routine that fixes the order of operations: clean, condition, define. Built for men with curls, coils, twists, locs, and sponge curls who want their style to hold without their hair paying for it. All three for $40. Bought separately they run $49.85. That's $9.85 back in your pocket — and more to the point, it's the only way these three do what they're built to do, which is work together. Step 1 — Invigorating Shampoo: Start with a clean slate. Our cooling mint shampoo clears buildup and excess sebum without stripping the moisture your curl pattern depends on. Product that sat on your scalp all week is the reason your definition falls flat by noon. Clear it out. Step 2 — Invigorating Conditioner: Coarse, textured hair has a tighter cuticle — moisture is harder to get in and easier to lose. Conditioning after every wash is what makes hair detangle easier, soften, and actually take a twist. Skip it and you're styling on dry hair. Step 3 — Crown Control Curl & Twist Cream: Gel-level hold with a cream finish. Defines curls, twists, and locs without the crunch, the white cast, or the flaking that makes most gel-based products unwearable. Active natural oils keep working while the style holds. Why the Order Matters: Curl creams get judged on the wrong day. Applied to a clean, conditioned head, Crown Control has something to hold onto — the definition is sharper and it lasts through a full day of movement and humidity. Applied over buildup, the same cream slides, separates, and flakes. Same product, two completely different results. Built for Dry Scalp Too: If you're dealing with flaking, itch, or irritation, this routine addresses it at every step. The shampoo clears flakes and soothes on contact. The conditioner replenishes moisture at the scalp. Crown Control's natural oils moisturize while the style sets — so you're not choosing between a scalp that feels good and a style that looks right. How to Use: Wash days (2–3x per week): Shampoo → Conditioner → Crown Control on wet to damp hair, worked through with your fingers to define as you go. For twists, apply before twisting each section. For locs, apply at the root and down the length. Air dry or diffuse. Between wash days, refresh with Crown Control on damp hair. Key Benefits: Complete 3-step routine for curls, twists, locs, and sponge curls. Cooling mint formula soothes dry, itchy scalp at every step. Gel hold with a cream finish — matte, non-flaking, no white cast. Sulfate-free shampoo that cleans without stripping. Lightweight throughout — nothing weighs down your pattern. Formulated specifically for textured hair. Want the full system? The Curly Hair Kit adds Daily Hydrator for between-wash moisture — the same three products plus the daily driver.
