Cumulus Clouds at Sunset

Original Acrylic on Canvas 48" x 24" Clouds are worlds onto themselves.  Who of us hasn’t stared up into the sky, imagining shapes of clouds turned into semi-recognizable objects.  Always changing, shape-shifting, clouds invite the imagination to run wild and free. Consciousness is a sunny day and clouds are thoughts.  Like clouds on a sunny day, thoughts pass by the mind.  Let them pass.  Unattached.  Un-anchored.  Watch the stories created out of thin air...objectified condensed vapors of liquid air.  Let them be.  No need to think. Loose deliberate expressive brushstrokes. The stroke is the action, embedded with feeling. Breaking down structures into strokes.
