Bulk Culinary Ground Chocolate

This is real-deal craft chocolate for your kitchen. Our culinary chocolate is single-origin, Bird Friendly® certified Dominican Republic bean-to-bar dark chocolate, made in our Bend, Oregon roastery with just two ingredients: responsibly sourced cocoa beans and organic cane sugar. We grind it untempered so it's ready to use straight from the bag, no chopping or melting fuss required. Stir it into hot milk for a luxe single-origin drinking chocolate or a genuinely great mocha. Fold it into brownie batter, whisk it into ganache, or use it as the secret ingredient in whatever you're making next. The same bean-to-bar intention we put into every chocolate bar, now in a format built for your kitchen. At 5 pounds, this bulk size is built for the serious home cook or anyone who simply refuses to run out of great chocolate. About Smithsonian Bird Friendly®: This bar is made using 100% Bird Friendly certified cocoa from Zorzal in the Dominican Republic. The Bird Friendly certification, developed by Smithsonian scientists, is rooted in decades of ecological research. It guarantees that certified farms are deforestation-free, certified organic, and maintain habitat for birds through either diverse shade trees or protected forest areas. When you buy Bird Friendly chocolate, you are supporting producers who are doing the hard work of conservation in the field and are also supporting the ongoing research and agricultural extension led by the Bird Friendly program.
