CubePilot The CubeOrange+

The Cube Orange+ is an advanced flight controller autopilot module. This is the Cube only and needs to be paired with a carrier board. The Cube Orange+, developed by CubePilot, is equipped with a high-performance STM32H743 ARM Cortex-M7 processor and supports ArduPilot firmware for seamless integration into drones, UAVs, and robotic systems.  Check out all our stacks & combos! Features Two vibration-isolated IMUs to reduce frame vibration effects Temperature-controlled IMUs for optimal performance Compact all-in-one FMU and IMU (Cube form factor) 80-pin DF17 connector for plug-and-play integration Custom carrier board support for manufacturers Faster STM32H757 H7 processor with 1MB RAM Compatible with CubePilot carrier boards Triple redundant IMU sensors Specifications IMU & Compasses 3 IMUs total: 2 on IMU board, 1 on FMU (all Cubes) 2 onboard compasses: 1 on IMU board, 1 on FMU (Cube Black, Green, Blue) 1 onboard compass (Cube Orange, Yellow) Barometers Three redundant IMUs (accels, gyros, and compass) Two redundant barometers Power System Dual power input (all Cubes) Redundancy from servo rail removed; now uses second dedicated power plug Zener diode and FET for Aux input 2 over-voltage protection Power protection available only on "PRO" carrier board Mini carrier board still uses servo rail for backup power I2C & External Devices Dual external I2C ports (all Cubes) Supports two GPS/Mag units without interference Power Monitoring Power monitoring routed to I/O chip for in-flight power event logging Brick OK, Backup OK, and FMU 3.3V monitored via 220Ω resistor to I/O pin I/O Ports & Connectivity 14 PWM outputs: 8 from I/O, 6 from FMU Inputs for CPPM, Spektrum/DSM, and S.Bus Analog/PWM RSSI input S.Bus servo output 5 serial ports (2 with flow control) 2 I2C ports 1 SPI port (un-buffered, short cable use only) 2 CAN Bus interfaces CAN FD interface on Cube BlueH7 and Orange 3 analog inputs High-powered piezo buzzer driver (on expansion board) High-power RGB LED (externally connected via I2C) Safety switch with LED IMPORTANT NOTES The Cube will not function without a carrier board.
