They are made of UL Listed Nylon PA 6/6 material with a ratcheting head that locks tightly and does not slip or slide. These cable ties have an excellent resistance to oils, oil derivatives, and chloride solvents. Limited resistance to acids. No resistance to phenols.  We have these cable ties available in black, natural, and a variety of other colors making them great for cable and wire organization as well.
