🔐 About the American Security Signature Vault The American Security Signature Vault is the first fire-resistant, closet-integrated safe engineered for seamless installation into standard residential shelving systems. Designed to convert unused closet shelf space into a secure vault, this compact unit delivers maximum interior storage, advanced concealed bolt work, and reliable fire protection—without compromising style or function. Traditional safes force difficult trade-offs between security, fire protection, space, and home integration. The Signature Vault ends those compromises through purposeful engineering by the team at American Security. Utilizing a fully concealed rear-stud mounting system and proprietary internal bolt work, this safe provides an unmatched advantage—it cannot be lifted out, pried free, or uninstalled without destructive force. Unlike exposed-bolt closet safes, the hidden mounting hardware is completely shielded from tampering, preventing thieves from simply unscrewing their way into removal. At just 16” H × 20” W × 12.8” D and weighing 75 lbs, the Signature Vault is optimized for deep interior storage while reclaiming valuable floor space in bedrooms and closets. Its shelf-friendly form factor accommodates jewelry boxes, cash, passports, documents, medications, heirlooms, and other irreplaceable valuables homeowners want protected and discreet. A clean semi-gloss white exterior blends effortlessly into modern closet interiors, while a padded leather-style lining protects sensitive items from scratches. A rechargeable internal LED lighting kit ensures visibility during low-light conditions or power outages, and the removable interior shelf allows flexible organization for both tall keepsakes and flat document storage. 🛠 Materials & Key Construction Features 30-Minute Fire Protection — 1200°F (1,200°F at 1200°F) fire-resistant Type X drywall fill Premium Steel Body — Heavy-duty 16-gauge welded steel Proprietary Hidden Bolt Work System — Maximizes usable storage while delivering institutional-grade security Concealed Rear-Stud Bolt-Down Design — Locks directly into wall studs with hardware hidden behind the safe body Padded Leather-Style Interior — Soft, scratch-resistant protection for valuables and heirlooms Rechargeable LED Interior Light Kit — Reliable illumination during outages or nighttime access Semi-Gloss White Finish — Blends seamlessly into closet, cabinet, and shelf installations Adjustable / Removable Shelf — Custom interior spacing for documents or personal items Residential-Friendly Weight — 75 lbs, ideal for standard stud/shelf support ✅ Warranty Coverage 1-Year Parts & Labor Warranty — Backed by American Security technical support and service integrity 📦 Specifications Spec Detail External Height 16 inches External Width 20 inches External Depth 12.8 inches Weight 75 lbs Fire Fill Type Drywall Fire Rating 30 Minutes @ 1200°F
