Crystal Head Camo Limited Edition Collectible Skull Bottle Vodka 750ml

Crystal Head was founded on the premise that a premium vodka could be both a serious spirit and a genuinely collectible object — and over 15 years of limited-edition skull bottles, the brand has consistently proven that premise correct. The Camo edition is the latest and most culturally resonant iteration of that philosophy: an iconic motif reimagined through the Crystal Head lens, where the camouflage pattern — once rooted in military utility and the natural world — has evolved into a symbol of individuality, self-expression, and visible identity. The concept is built around a deliberate reinterpretation. Camouflage, as Crystal Head describes it, is "not a way to blend in, but a way to be unmistakably seen." The camouflage skull does not hide — it announces. It is the contradiction at the heart of the design, and it is entirely consistent with the Crystal Head brand's founding DNA: a skull that is not sinister but celebratory, a pattern designed for concealment that has been repurposed for display, a vodka that takes no additives not because it wants to disappear but because it has nothing to hide. The liquid inside is the Original Crystal Head Vodka — the same multi-award-winning Canadian corn vodka that earned Double Gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition, filtered through Herkimer diamonds and Newfoundland glacial spring water, zero sugar, zero additives, zero glycerol. The same spirit. A new canvas. Alongside the release, Crystal Head is supporting a number of charitable foundations and initiatives connected to military, veteran, and service-based causes — giving the Camo edition a dimension of purpose beyond its visual impact. For the collector, the gifting buyer, the veteran supporter, or simply anyone who wants a bottle that makes an unmistakable statement on the bar: this is it. Origins & Craftsmanship Crystal Head Vodka was co-founded in 2008 by actor, writer, and creative visionary Dan Aykroyd and artist John Alexander — whose iconic skull bottle design was famously declared one of the most complex glass vessels ever produced by Bruni Glass in Milan, taking over two years to develop and perfect. The brand launched in California and quickly established itself as both a serious premium spirit and a genuine collector's phenomenon, with successive limited-edition skull bottles — Aurora, Onyx, Pride, and now Camo — each bringing a distinct visual identity to the same production philosophy. The Camo bottle was created using a distinctive decoration process unique to Crystal Head — applied directly to the signature skull-shaped bottle in a camouflage pattern that transforms the familiar silhouette into something simultaneously new and recognizable. The design process honored both the traditional associations of camouflage — resilience, discipline, identity — and its evolution across fashion, streetwear, and contemporary culture into a symbol of personal expression and creative confidence. The vodka inside is produced from a variety of corn known as "peaches and cream," grown in the Kent-Chatham region of Ontario, Canada — a locally sourced, high-quality grain base that provides the subtle sweetness and corn-driven clarity that defines the Crystal Head Original profile. The grain is processed and distilled four times to achieve 95% ABV before being reduced to 40% using water drawn from deep glacial aquifers in Newfoundland — one of Canada's most pristine natural water sources. The spirit then passes through three stages of Herkimer diamond filtration — the rare double-terminated quartz crystals found primarily in Herkimer County, New York, and traditionally associated with clarity, energy, and purity in crystal culture — before being bottled without glycerol, sugar, citrus oils, or additives of any kind. Zero sugar. Gluten-free. Additive-free. Crystal Head's charitable commitment with the Camo edition supports veteran and service-based causes — a philanthropic dimension that adds genuine meaning to the camouflage design's military and service associations and provides a values-aligned purchase motivation for customers who want their spending to carry purpose. Critics Reviews San Francisco World Spirits Competition — Double Gold Medal (Crystal Head Original — the same vodka contained in the Camo edition) SFWSC — Silver Medal (prior release cycle) LA Spirits & Wine Competition — Silver Medal & Special Jury Award for Unique Packaging Crystal Head Original Vodka has earned consistent competition recognition since launch — confirming the liquid quality at the heart of every Crystal Head limited edition, including the Camo. Tasting Profile Nose Crystal clear in the glass — the Herkimer diamond filtration's most immediately apparent quality. Clean, neutral, and classically pure on approach — the standard Crystal Head Original signature. Subtle vanilla emerges from the corn base alongside a soft citrus note and delicate grain sweetness. Clean mineral tones from the Newfoundland glacial water add a cool, slightly stony freshness beneath the grain character. The overall impression is of an exceptionally clean vodka — nothing artificial, nothing added, nothing that shouldn't be there. Palate Silky, smooth, and distinctly corn-driven — the "peaches and cream" variety's natural sweetness evident in a soft, slightly sweet entry that is the Crystal Head Original's most immediately distinctive quality. Vanilla and a touch of soft pepper build through the mid-palate alongside light sweetness and a clean mineral core from the Newfoundland water. The four-time distillation and Herkimer diamond filtration's combined effect on the mouthfeel is the most praised aspect of the original vodka: a silky, coating quality that is noticeably different from standard grain neutral spirit. No glycerol, no texture additives — the smoothness is entirely the result of process and ingredient quality. Finish Clean, crisp, and warming — a refined, lingering smoothness that closes cleanly without sharpness or heat. Corn sweetness fades into a dry, slightly spicy close alongside the mineral freshness of the water. The finish is medium in length — leaving the palate clean, refreshed, and entirely free of the harsh residual burn that lower-quality vodkas produce. Pure, honest, and direct. An exceptional gifting bottle for veterans, active service members, and those who honor them; for collectors who track Crystal Head's limited edition series; for home bar enthusiasts who want a statement piece that serves equally as a display object and as a premium spirit; and for anyone who believes that a bottle can carry meaning as well as liquid. Cocktail Suggestions Camo Martini 2.5 oz Crystal Head Camo Vodka · ½ oz dry vermouth · lemon twist. Stirred over ice with precision, served up in a chilled coupe. The corn vodka's subtle sweetness and mineral character make a Martini of unusual warmth and texture — the Herkimer diamond filtration's silkiness most apparent in the classic format where no other ingredient masks it. Crystal Clear G&T 2 oz Crystal Head Camo Vodka · premium tonic water · expressed lime peel. Built over ice in a highball or Copa de Balon glass. The corn sweetness bridges naturally with tonic's botanical bitterness — a lighter, more refreshing format that showcases the vodka's clean, grain-forward character with minimal intervention. Camo Espresso Martini 1.5 oz Crystal Head Camo Vodka · 1 oz freshly pulled espresso · ¾ oz coffee liqueur · pinch of salt. Shaken hard over ice, double-strained into a chilled coupe. The corn vodka's natural sweetness adds a dimension of warmth to the espresso martini format that standard neutral spirit cannot achieve — a creamy, coffee-rich cocktail where the vodka's character contributes rather than disappears. Vodka Soda with Purpose 2 oz Crystal Head Camo Vodka · premium sparkling water · lime wheel. Built over ice in a tall glass. The simplest serve — the Herkimer diamond filtration and additive-free production philosophy are most purely expressed when nothing else is added. Clean, crisp, and entirely honest. Camo Mule 2 oz Crystal Head Camo Vodka · ginger beer · squeeze of fresh lime · lime wheel. Built over ice in a copper mug. The corn sweetness plays naturally against ginger's heat in a Mule that is warmer, more flavored, and more distinctly vodka-forward than standard grain neutral spirit delivers.
