Crystal “Leg Bones”

Natural crystal/stone Femurs Approx 6” long Carved & polished by hand Crystal Tip: These crystal “bones” are a fun addition to your Halloween display. They also make a meaningful addition to an ancestral altar.  Ancient Mesoamerican cultures understand bones as being the material of life and were considered capable of manifesting regeneration and rebirth. Festivals dedicated to the god Huitzilopochtli involved bread baked into the form of long bones that were set at the feet of his statue; those were sanctified and later broken up and consumed by people seeking restoration and healing.  [Source: Cecilia Klein, The Devil and the Skirt]
