Cry Bird, by Sammy T. Anderson

Poetry, chapbook, 24 pages, from Bottlecap Features. Nature never ceases. To amaze. To triumph. To overcome. It is at once gentle and raging. In a world that can sometimes feel empty of hope, nature is there to remind us of what could be. That, more than anything, is the inspiration for these poems. Like an easy stroll through the forest, Cry Bird offers a gentle respite from the everyday, examining the intimate in the natural. The beauty of rain and the ferocity of the ocean and the desire to become one with the world. These poems were written during various trips through various woods, and capture the mood and spirit of those peaceful times. Sammy T. Anderson is a writer and filmmaker from Indiana. His poetry has been featured in 34th Parallel Magazine, Armstrong Literary and elsewhere. He lives with his wife and three dogs. To see more of his work, please visit his website sammytanderson.com
